'We offer our members about 100 walks a year. The core programme consists of day walks every fortnight on both Saturday and Sunday: usually an easy, low-level walk and a more strenuous one, and ranging from 6 to 12 miles in length. From May to August we provide a shorter evening walk on alternate Tuesdays and Wednesdays every week. In addition to the core programme there is a Half Day walk and an Adventure walk every month ... Residential weekends are held each year and allow the group to visit areas beyond the range of our day walks.'
