'In 1968 an area of 142 hectares of The Queen's private Estate at Sandringham was designated a Country Park. It has been enlarged since then so that today nearly 243 hectares are available for visitors to enjoy. The Park is open every day, there is no charge for entry and parking is also free ... '

'Walk alongside bird-filled lagoons, shingle beaches, and the vast wilderness of The Wash.'
'The friendly welcome our visitors receive is the perfect start to a day exploring wetlands, where incredible wildlife encounters take place everyday, set in the heart of the Fens.'
'Starting in the historic village of Castle Acre, with its Cluniac Priory and eleventh century castle, this 6 mile walk follows the Peddars Way National Trail, old drove roads and lanes. It returns to the village following the River Nar, on part of the Nar Valley Way.'
'Coasthopper shadows the Norfolk Coast Path National Trail all the way along from Hunstanton to Cromer, so it's really easy to take the bus, get off for a good walk, and rejoin the bus a bit further along the route. What's more the Peddars Way National Trail also reaches the coast at Holme next the Sea.' Note that I have replaced the original Link used here with one to WalkCromer.
'Cross-county route that begins with the Nar Valley Way in King’s Lynn on the Wash, continues with the Wensum Way and Marriott’s Way to Norwich and from here follows the Wherryman’s Way to Great Yarmouth on the North Sea coast.'
'Within the town itself there is a wealth of parks, gardens and flower beds rich in colour, scents and culture, which are the culmination of many years of hard work by the Hunstanton in Bloom committee as they strive to create open spaces that complement the natural assets of the seaside town. So whether you are a first time visitor to Hunstanton or a lifelong resident, why not follow our picturesque tour acround the town to discover some of the many hidden treasurers that contribute to Hunstanton’s award-winning success?'
The 83 miles of the whole Iceni Way runs from Breckland to the The Wash. It was devised by members of the Norfolk Ramblers from whom a 28 page printed guide can (and should) be obtained. This is a description of a section of the walk.

'A fascinating visitor trail links The Walks in King's Lynn with other ancient treasures in the town and celebrates a rich chapter in local history.'
'Walking trail meandering through contrasting landscapes between the medieval town of King’s Lynn and the Farm and Workhouse museum in Gressenhall.'
Wimps Guide to the Sir Peter Scott Walk '... Protests that I was nearly sixty and hadn't walked more than four miles anytime over the last thirty of those, merely brought self satisfied nods and general agreement. This was exactly the non walking type of person we were looking for to test and describe the walk for ordinary mortals ...' ALERT Unfortunately, I could no longer find the 'Wimps Guide' on the Snowgoose Wildlife Trust Website at Review.
