'The Walking Group holds 2 meetings a month. Shorter walks (Amble) take place on the 2nd Monday of the month @ 10.00hrs and are usually between three to four and a half miles long. The longer walks take place on the 4th Monday of the month @ 10.00hrs and vary in length between five to seven miles around the Bucks, Berks and Oxon countryside. For both walks the routes are organised by individual group members. However, there is no compulsion to organize a walk so, if you want to enjoy our beautiful countryside do join us on a Monday morning.

'This is an unforgettable walk through hilly beechwoods and villages of Buckinghamshire and South Oxfordshire, easily accessible from London. It is perfect at any time because the beech trees change at every season sometimes with spectacular colours. The walk is easy to follow thanks to the white arrows painted on the trees. There are five good pubs en route ... '

'The Village of Lacey Green lies along the top of a ridge in the Chiltern Hills, about forty miles north-west of London, above the main Princes Risborough to High Wycombe road. Possibly best known for its windmill, however the many miles of public footpaths and bridleways through the surrounding hills, valleys and woods are also worthy of exploration.'

'Walk out from Jerome K Jerome's "bustling, lively little town" of Malow onto the banks of the Thames where "the river itself is at its best", past historic buildings and then into the "lovely country round about", through woodlands and alongside ancient archaeological sites.'
