'The PROSPECTS Foundation is Hyndburn’s main charity for protecting and enhancing the local natural environment. Our charity exists to raise awareness of environmental issues and to help community groups and local people get involved in conservation work. We’ve been around since 1998 and have involved hundreds of local people in a range of activities, including tree planting, improving the canal, community food growing, recycling and dry-stone walling.'
