The Category Parish Walks is a subset of Particular Types of Walks in the UK.

Note that a PDF of the 'Aylesford Community Trail' no longer seems directly accessible via the Parish Council Website; nor via the Kent Downs AONB Site. But a Google search of the Title at the time of Review generated an archival PDF which could be downloaded.

Great Bradley is 'a small village on the Suffolk/ Cambridge border between the towns of Newmarket and Haverhill. There are only about 190 houses and 400 people in the village. Great Bradley comprises the main village and houses on the Thurlow Road and in East Green. There is evidence that the area has been lived in since the middle stone age about 5,000 years ago. "Bradley" is derived from "Broad Ley", the Old English (Anglo Saxon) meaning "broad wood or clearing"'.

'In 1996 the Linby and Papplewick parish paths partnership (P3) was created to maintain the footpaths and rights of way in the two parishes. 'Thurgoland is a semi-rural parish of around 2500 people in South Yorkshire on the A629 Sheffield – Huddersfield road. It consists of the villages of Thurgoland and Crane Moor and other small settlements. It was recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086 and in the 17th century was the centre of the wire-drawing industry. Today it is a modern village with a strong community life. It is good centre for walking on a wide network of local paths and one branch of the Trans Pennine Trail long distance footpath passes through the parish.' 'Twyning Parish is acknowledged to have one of the finest networks of public footpaths in the entire County. In 1994 the Parish Council won the Rambler's Association Footpath Heritage trophy for the excellent state of its 19 miles of footpaths and bridleways. All paths are clearly marked with way signs and range from simple village walks to longer trips across the Commons.'

Eight Walks which were 'first published in The Worthys Parish Magazine in 2012 and were written by a member of the Worthys Local History Group'.  ALERT Regrettably, the 8 Walks no longer seem to be accessible from the Kings Worthy PC Website.  However, at Review, a Google exact match string search using "Worthy Walk 1" (then 2, 3, etc) generated a PDF of the relevant Walk. I have used the Link for Walk 1 in the updated Record here.
