We are a very diverse region, from isolated rural villages to city metropolis, from agriculture to service industry, manufacturing to technology and the people are excitingly diverse too. We have 6 Universities within our region including Cambridge, Anglia Ruskin, Essex, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and East Anglia.'

Who can join U3A?: 'Anyone who is no longer in full time employment. We have no other pre-requisites apart from the love of learning. U3As neither require nor award any qualifications. There is also the chance to make new friends and explore new areas of interest.'
