'We are one of the most well established and successful Walking Clubs in the area. Our Club is totally self-governing and independent and does not form part of any national organisation, and as a result of this our membership fees are very modest. Our success is based upon being a welcoming and friendly Club whose members come from all walks of life. The provision of full and varied walking programmes together with regular social activities, summer Coach Trips and the annual Walking Holiday further ensure that the needs of our members are fully met.'
