'We are the Mourne Rambling Group, a hill walking club providing 2 or 3 levels of walks every Sunday in the Mourne mountains ... However, please note, we are a hill walking club and you must be fit enough to walk hills and not just on the flat.'
Taster Walks 'Some people who would like to walk in the mountains have never had the opportunity to take on the challenge of a hill walk - they remain unsure about the equipment they will need and whether they can cope with mountain slopes. If this is you we are keen to help. Just speak with either of our New Members Officers and they will arrange for you to come on one of our "taster" walks. These walks, which are led by an experienced Club leader, will give you an idea of the general pace and difficulty of a C grade walk. Normally several "taster" walks will be organised each year (usually on Saturday) - we will note your name and contact you well in advance of the walk.'
