*South Bank Ramblers

'The Group provides a comprehensive programme of walks. The walks take place, most usually, somewhere in the South East of England and are accessible from London by public transport. Walks vary in length, usually between four and eighteen miles, and vary in difficulty, anything from the comfortably paced to the positively challenging. They often include an optional pub refreshment stop, either during or after the walk, giving members the opportunity to get to know one another.'

'South Bank Ramblers formed more than twenty years ago. The group has a diverse membership covering a range of ages and backgrounds. Although most members are based in the boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark, others are drawn from a number of London boroughs or even further afield. A love of walking is the group's engine and focus; for some it is a pleasure, for others a passion.'
